Short definitionintraepithelial neoplasia (IN-truh-eh-pih-THEE-lee-ul NEE-oh-PLAY-zhuh) A condition in which abnormal cells are found on the surface or within the tissue , lining an organ such as the prostate, breast, or cervix. The changes in the cells can be minor or major, depending on how much tissue is affected and how abnormal the cells look under a microscope.
