The Goldilocks Principle (pronunciation: /ˈɡoʊldiˌlɒks ˈprɪnsɪpəl/) is a concept derived from the children's story "Goldilocks and the Three Bears", where a little girl named Goldilocks prefers things that are "just right", neither too much nor too little. In a medical context, the Goldilocks Principle refers to the idea of finding the right balance, particularly in terms of treatment or intervention, that is neither too much nor too little, but just right.
