George C. Nichopoulos (pronunciation: George See Ni-ko-po-lus) was a prominent American physician known for his long-term professional relationship with Elvis Presley.

Etymology

The name George is of Greek origin, meaning "farmer" or "earthworker". Nichopoulos is also of Greek origin, and is a patronymic surname, meaning "son of Nichopulos".
