Role and Responsibilities
Dental Technicians work closely with Dentists and Prosthodontists to design, fabricate, and repair dental appliances such as Dentures, crowns, bridges, and Orthodontic appliances. They use a variety of materials including ceramics, metals, and polymers to create these appliances.
Education and Training
To become a Dental Technician, one must complete a diploma or degree program in Dental technology. This is followed by a period of practical training under the supervision of experienced Dental Technicians or Dentists.
