ASPS - A soft tissue tumor that is most common in older children and adolescents. It begins in the soft supporting tissues that connect and surround organs and other tissues. ASPS usually occurs in the legs but can also occur in the arms, hands, head, or neck. It can cause new blood vessels to grow, which help the tumor grow and spread. Also called alveolar soft tissue sarcoma
