South Ostrobothnia (Finnish: Etelä-Pohjanmaa) is a region in western Finland. It is known for its rich cultural heritage, vibrant local traditions, and picturesque landscapes. The region is characterized by its flat plains, which are ideal for agriculture, and its numerous lakes and rivers.

Geography[edit]

South Ostrobothnia is bordered by the regions of Central Ostrobothnia, Ostrobothnia, Central Finland, Pirkanmaa, and Satakunta. The region covers an area of approximately 13,999 square kilometers.
