NCQA
NCQA (pronunciation: en-see-kew-ay) is an acronym for the National Committee for Quality Assurance. It is a private, non-profit organization that works to improve health care quality through the administration of evidence-based standards, measures, programs, and accreditation.

The term NCQA is an acronym derived from the name of the organization, the National Committee for Quality Assurance. The organization was established in 1990.
