This condition rarely turns into cancer. However, a lobular intraepithelial neoplasia in one breast increases the risk of breast cancer in both breasts. Types of lobular intraepithelial neoplasia include atypical lobular hyperplasia and lobular carcinoma in situ (LCIS). Also called LIN and lobular neoplasia
