implant displacement views - (pronounced) (. . . dis-PLAYS-ment vyooz) A procedure for performing a mammogram (X-ray of the breasts) on women with breast implants. The implant is pressed against the chest wall and the breast tissue is pulled forward and around it so that the tissue is visible on the mammogram. Also called Eklund displacement views and Eklund views
