Description
English: Ruins of the tenement house at 27 Dzielna Street in former Warsaw Ghetto. This building was located close to the infamous Pawiak prison. After the fall of Warsaw Ghetto Uprising backyard of this house was used by Nazi-German occupants as a place of secret executions. In the years 1943-1944 thousands of Pawiak inmates – Poles and Jews – were murder in this place.
Polski: Ruiny domu przy ul. Dzielnej 27, położonego w obrębie getta warszawskiego. Po upadku powstania w getcie podwórze tego domu było wykorzystywane przez Niemców jako miejsce tajnych egzekucji. W latach 1943-1944 zostało zamordowanych w tym miejscu tysiące więźniów Pawiaka.
