(C and D) Cross-sections of (C) intracytoplasmic nucleocapsids and (D) a virion, with the nucleocapsid seemingly organized by subunits arranged in helical symmetry. (E) Preformed WBV nucleocapsids in the cytoplasm arranged side by side at smooth membranes. All bars represent 100 nm.
