Description

Amid rows of cabbage, John Atis talks about the crop grown at the Wynne Farm, a mountaintop training facility for farmers in Kenscoff, Haiti. Atis is the Kenscoff regional director for USAID’s Watershed Initiative for National Natural Environmental Resources (WINNER) program. WINNER is a five-year, $126 million dollar project to build Haiti’s agricultural infrastructure, capacity, and productivity in a sustainable way. Oct. 6, 2010.
