English: A horse and buggy stand in front of the main entrance to O'Connor Sanitarium, which stood on West San Carlos Street between Race Street and Meridian Avenue. O'Connor Sanitarium was erected in 1888 thanks to the generosity of Judge Myles P. O'Connor. The brick building was designed by local architect Theodore Lenzen. It was demolished in 1955.
