Description

Summary

A selection of local cheeses on display at the en:Mid-Somerset Show, an en:agricultural show held annually in en:Shepton Mallet, en:Somerset, UK. Competitions are held in livestock, handicrafts, farm produce and equestrian events. The Cheddar cheeses on display here are judged on their taste, texture and colour before prizes are awarded. Although most of the entries are cuboid, a traditional cylindrical 'en:truckle' can be seen, created in a round wooden pot.
