Under the Copyright Act of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (as amended by Decree No. 1532 of February 1, 2006), a copyrighted work can be used without permission … when a copyrighted work is copied in public places [1532/2006, Article 32.8].
In addition, architectures are not mentioned in Article 9 of the Copyright Act, and therefore have no copyright in North Korea.
