Samuel Gloner [Straßburg 1598-1648], Argentinensis Poeta Laureatus. Beschreibung : Bis beinahe zu den Hüften sichtbar, ist der griech.-orth. Theologe und Musikgelehrte im Halbprofil von rechts vor parallelschraffiertem Hintergrund wiedergegeben, wobei sein Blick zum Betrachter gerichtet ist. Während die rechte Hand wie zum Redegestus erhoben ist, hält die linke vor der Brust ein zugeschlagenes Buch, in das noch der Zeigefinger eingemerkt ist. Das breitflächige Gesicht mit der gebogenen Nase wird von dichtem Haupthaar und einem Vollbart umrahmt. Rahmung : Von doppeltem Linienzug gerahmtes Hochrechteck. |
