English: HAS OCCUPIED THE SAME SITE SINCE THE FORMATION OF THE COUNTY IN 1691. BUILT ON LAND GIVEN TO THE COUNTY BY MR. EDMUND TUNSTALL, IT WAS BURNED AND REBUILT TWICE. THE FIRST MEETING IN THE CURRENT COURTHOUSE WAS HELD ON DECEMBER 6, 1866.
