This linguistic map image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.
It is recommended to name the SVG file “Dialects Of Punjabi.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.

Summary

Description
English: Map of dialects of Punjabi ("Greater Panjabic" as per Glottolog, incl. Eastern Punjabi and Western Punjabi (Lahnda/Landa) varieties) and some closely related language-groups, such as Western Paharic, Rajasthanic, and Sindhic.

Citation: Most of positionings of the main dialects are in-agreement with scholar Mangat Bhardwaj's analysis of the geographic distribution of Punjabi dialects (esp. Eastern Punjabi ones) in Panjabi: A Comprehensive Grammar (Routledge, 25 August 2016, pages 7–8 [ISBN: 9781317643265]).

In Mangat Bhardwaj's map, a dialect called "Rathi" is placed to the east of Bhatiani and to the south of Malwai, occupying a thin-strip of territory. Also, the Puadhi-speaking area on Khalid Mahmood's map seems over-represented, it should be more confined to the east, as per Bhardwaj's map.
