Pupils at Eton College, 1932, dressed as members of the rowing eights taking part in the "Procession of Boats" on the River Thames during traditional Fourth of June celebrations. The names of their boats are shown on their hats: Monarch, Victory, Prince of Wales, Britannia, Thetis, Hibernia, St George, Alexandra, Defiance, Dreadnought (boats existing/surviving in 2011[1]).
