Description Blue plaque to John Hall-Edwards, British pioneer in the use of X-rays in medicine. On the wall of Birmingham Children's Hospital, Steelhouse Lane, Birmingham, England. The inscription reads "Birmingham Civic Society, Major Dr. John Hall-Edwards, 1858-1926, Pioneer Radiologist worked here, 1987". 1987 was the year the plaque was erected, when the building was Birmingham General Hospital.
