Bioinvent (pronounced: /ˈbaɪoʊˌɪnvɛnt/) is a term used in the field of Biotechnology and Pharmaceuticals to describe the process of inventing or creating new biological entities or processes. The term is a portmanteau of "biology" and "invent".
