Long Beach Medical Center (formerly Long Beach Memorial Hospital) was a teaching and community hospital located in Long Beach, New York. It was founded in 1922 and had a total of 403 beds, including 203 acute care beds and 200 sub-acute/skilled nursing beds. The hospital was affiliated with the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine and the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.

Unfortunately, Long Beach Medical Center was destroyed during Hurricane Sandy. Efforts are currently underway to secure state funds for the rebuilding of the hospital. In the meantime, a freestanding emergency department operated by South Nassau Communities Hospital has been established on the site of the former Long Beach Hospital.

The facilities at Long Beach Medical Center included an emergency department, physical rehabilitation services, in-patient psychiatric care, wound and hyperbaric services, and both inpatient and outpatient substance abuse services. Orthopedic care was provided in collaboration with other medical institutions.

Medical staff residency training records and verification were available through the Federation of State Medical Boards' Federation Credentials Verification Service (FCVS). The hospital also had a closed Residency program.
