Kansai Medical University (関西医科大学, Kansai ika daigaku) is a private university located in Hirakata, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. It is one of the prominent medical universities in the Kansai region, known for its comprehensive medical education and research facilities.

Kansai Medical University was established in 1928 as the Osaka Women's Medical College. It was founded with the aim of providing medical education to women, which was a pioneering effort at the time. In 1947, the institution became coeducational and was renamed Kansai Medical College. It achieved university status in 1954, becoming Kansai Medical University.
