Romanian physician and medical historian



Victor Gomoiu (1882–1960) was a prominent Romanian physician, surgeon, and medical historian. He made significant contributions to the development of medical education and healthcare in Romania, and his work in medical history is well-regarded.

Early Life and Education

Victor Gomoiu was born in 1882 in the village of Baia de Aramă, located in the Mehedinți County of Romania.
