The MGM Grand Las Vegas is a prominent hotel and casino located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. It is one of the largest hotels in the world by number of rooms and is renowned for its vibrant entertainment options, luxurious accommodations, and expansive casino floor.

The MGM Grand Las Vegas opened its doors on December 18, 1993. Originally designed as a Hollywood-themed resort, it was the largest hotel complex in the world at the time of its opening. The property was developed by MGM Resorts International, a leading global hospitality and entertainment company.

The hotel was initially themed around the Wizard of Oz, with a yellow brick road and an Emerald City motif. However, this theme was later removed in favor of a more modern and luxurious aesthetic.

The MGM Grand is notable for its striking green color and its massive size. The main building is 30 stories tall and features a distinctive emerald green facade.
