GB Glace
GB Glace is a Swedish ice cream company. It is a subsidiary of the multinational food and beverage corporation, Unilever. GB Glace is the largest ice cream company in Sweden, and it has been in operation since 1942.
History[edit]
GB Glace was founded in 1942 by the brothers Gösta Kjellbom and Bror Kjellbom. The company's name, GB, stands for "Gösta Bror", the founders' first names. The company started with a small production facility in Gothenburg, Sweden, and it has grown to become the largest ice cream manufacturer in the country.
Products[edit]
GB Glace produces a wide range of ice cream products, including popsicles, ice cream cones, and ice cream bars. Some of the company's most popular products include the Piggelin, a pear-flavored popsicle, and the Sandwich, an ice cream sandwich made with soft chocolate chip cookies. GB Glace is also known for its seasonal and limited-edition flavors, which often reflect traditional Swedish tastes and ingredients.
