Pemberton Place
Pemberton Place[edit]
Pemberton Place is a renowned 20-acre complex located in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. Named after John S. Pemberton, the inventor of Coca-Cola, it is home to some of Atlanta's most popular attractions, including the World of Coca-Cola, the Georgia Aquarium, and the National Center for Civil and Human Rights.
History[edit]
Pemberton Place was developed by the Coca-Cola Company as a part of their corporate philanthropy efforts. The land was donated by the company in 2002, with the intention of creating a space that would contribute to the cultural and educational enrichment of Atlanta's residents and visitors.
Attractions[edit]
World of Coca-Cola[edit]
The World of Coca-Cola is a museum showcasing the history of The Coca-Cola Company. The 20-acre interactive facility features exhibits about the secret formula of Coca-Cola, a 4D movie, and allows visitors to taste different Coca-Cola products from around the world.
Georgia Aquarium[edit]
The Georgia Aquarium is one of the largest aquariums in the world, housing thousands of animals in more than 10 million gallons of water. It features exhibits showcasing various marine habitats, from tropical coral reefs to the chilly waters of the Arctic.
National Center for Civil and Human Rights[edit]
The National Center for Civil and Human Rights is a museum dedicated to the achievements of both the civil rights movement in the United States and the broader worldwide human rights movement. The center features exhibits that connect the American Civil Rights Movement to current Global Human Rights Movements.

Pemberton Place is located in downtown Atlanta, adjacent to Centennial Olympic Park. It is easily accessible via public transportation, with the MARTA transit system providing convenient access to the area.
Future Developments[edit]
Plans for future developments at Pemberton Place include the addition of more cultural and educational institutions. While specific plans have not been announced, the goal is to continue enhancing the area as a destination for learning and exploration.
