University of East London
History
The University of East London (UEL) is a public university located in the London Borough of Newham, London, England. It was established in 1898 as the West Ham Technical Institute, which was later known as West Ham College of Technology. The institution gained university status in 1992.
Campuses
UEL has three campuses: Docklands Campus, Stratford Campus, and University Square Stratford.
Docklands Campus
The Docklands Campus, opened in 2000, is the largest of the three campuses and is located in the Royal Docks area of east London. It features modern facilities and student accommodation.

Stratford Campus
The Stratford Campus is situated near the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and offers a range of courses in health, sports, and bioscience.

University Square Stratford
University Square Stratford is a joint venture with Birkbeck, University of London, providing a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Academic Structure
UEL is organized into several schools, including the School of Architecture, Computing and Engineering, the School of Education and Communities, and the School of Health, Sport and Bioscience.
Student Life
The university offers a vibrant student life with various clubs, societies, and sports teams. The Students' Union provides support and representation for students.
