Stranger rape

Acquaintance rape

Marital rape

War rape

War rape is committed by combatants during armed conflict, often as a strategy to terrorize and destabilize communities. It is recognized as a war crime and a violation of international humanitarian law. War rape can have long-lasting effects on victims and their communities, contributing to cycles of violence and trauma.

Statutory rape

Statutory rape involves sexual activity with a person who is below the legal age of consent. The law presumes that individuals below a certain age cannot give informed consent to sexual activities, making any such act a criminal offense regardless of perceived consent.
