Isle of Palms, South Carolina is a city in Charleston County, South Carolina, United States. It is situated on a barrier island of the same name along the South Carolina coast. The city is part of the Charleston-North Charleston-Summerville metropolitan area.
History
The Isle of Palms has a rich history dating back to the Sewee people, who were the original inhabitants of the island. European settlers arrived in the late 17th century, and the island was used primarily for farming and as a hunting ground.
