Emily Quartermaine
Emily Quartermaine is a fictional character from the American soap opera General Hospital. The character was portrayed by actress Amber Tamblyn from 1995 to 2001, and later by Natalia Livingston from 2003 to 2008. Emily is a member of the prominent Quartermaine family, a central family in the series.
Character History
Emily Quartermaine was introduced as the daughter of Page Bowen, a friend of Monica Quartermaine. After Page's death from cancer, Monica and her husband Alan Quartermaine adopted Emily, integrating her into the wealthy and influential Quartermaine family.
Early Years
Emily's early years in Port Charles were marked by her struggle to adjust to her new life with the Quartermaines. She formed close bonds with her adoptive siblings, particularly Jason Morgan and AJ Quartermaine. Emily also developed a close friendship with Lucky Spencer and Elizabeth Webber.
Romantic Relationships
Emily's most significant romantic relationship was with Nikolas Cassadine, a member of the rival Cassadine family. Their relationship faced numerous obstacles, including family feuds and external threats. Despite these challenges, Emily and Nikolas shared a deep and enduring love.
