Batdorf & Bronson was founded by Larry and Cherie Challain in Olympia, Washington. The company quickly gained a reputation for its dedication to quality and sustainability. In 1994, Batdorf & Bronson expanded its operations to Atlanta, Georgia, to better serve its growing customer base on the East Coast.
