Washington State University (WSU) is a public university located in Pullman, Washington. Established in 1890, it is one of the oldest land-grant universities in the American West. WSU is known for its programs in agriculture, veterinary medicine, engineering, architecture, and communications.

History

Washington State University was founded on March 28, 1890, as the Washington Agricultural College and School of Science. The institution's name was changed to State College of Washington in 1905 and finally to Washington State University in 1959. The university has grown significantly over the years, expanding its academic offerings and research capabilities.

Campus
