Arsenal Football Club is a professional football club based in Islington, London, England. The club competes in the Premier League, the top flight of English football. Arsenal has won numerous trophies, including 13 First Division and Premier League titles and a record 14 FA Cups. The club's home ground is the Emirates Stadium, which they moved to in 2006 after leaving Highbury.

History

Arsenal was founded in 1886 as Dial Square by workers at the Royal Arsenal in Woolwich. The club was renamed Royal Arsenal shortly after its formation and then Woolwich Arsenal in 1893. In 1913, the club moved to Highbury and dropped "Woolwich" from its name, becoming simply Arsenal.

Achievements

Arsenal has a rich history of success. The club has won 13 league titles, including one Invincible season in 2003-04, where they went unbeaten throughout the entire league campaign.
