Christina Judith Perri (born August 19, 1986) is an American singer and songwriter. She gained fame with her debut single "Jar of Hearts" in 2010, which was featured on the television show So You Think You Can Dance.

Early Life[edit]

Perri was born in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, and began playing music at a young age. She taught herself how to play guitar and piano, and started writing her own songs.

Career[edit]

In 2010, Perri signed with Atlantic Records and released her debut single "Jar of Hearts," which quickly gained popularity. The song was later included on her debut album, Lovestrong, released in 2011.

Perri's music is known for its emotional lyrics and powerful vocals. She has released several albums and singles, including hits like "A Thousand Years" and "Human".
