National University of La Plata (Spanish: Universidad Nacional de La Plata, UNLP

Founded on October 12, 1905, by Dr. Dardo Rocha, the governor of Buenos Aires Province at the time, it was the culmination of a project aimed at establishing a higher education institution to serve the region.
