Lobaplatin

Lobaplatin is a third-generation platinum-based antineoplastic agent used in the treatment of various types of cancer. It was developed by ASTA Medica and is currently marketed in China under the brand name Dacin.

Chemistry

Lobaplatin is a platinum compound with the chemical formula C8H12Cl2N2O3Pt. It is a heavy, white powder that is soluble in water. The platinum atom in lobaplatin is coordinated to two chlorine atoms and a lactate molecule.
