Dimethyldienolone is a synthetic, steroidal androgen that is part of the family of anabolic steroids. It is also known as 7α,17α-dimethyl-δ1-testosterone or as 7α,17α-dimethylestr-4-en-17β-ol-3-one.

Chemistry

Dimethyldienolone is a synthetic estrane steroid and a derivative of testosterone. It is more specifically a derivative of nandrolone (19-nortestosterone) or more precisely, nandrolone (17β-hydroxyestr-4-en-3-one).

Pharmacology

As an androgen and anabolic steroid, dimethyldienolone has the ability to increase protein synthesis in the body, leading to increased muscle mass and strength. It also has the potential to promote secondary male sexual characteristics such as increased body hair and a deepening of the voice.

Side Effects

Like all anabolic steroids, dimethyldienolone has potential side effects. These can include acne, hair loss, gynecomastia, and increased aggression. It can also have serious health risks such as liver damage, cardiovascular disease, and reproductive system disorders.

Legal Status

In many countries, including the United States, dimethyldienolone is classified as a controlled substance. This means it is illegal to possess, distribute, or manufacture without a prescription or license.
