Tony Luke Jr. is an American entrepreneur, actor, songwriter, and musician. He is best known as the co-founder of the Philadelphia-based cheesesteak franchise, Tony Luke's.

Early Life

Tony Luke Jr. was born and raised in South Philadelphia. He grew up in a close-knit Italian-American family, where food played a central role in their traditions and gatherings.

In 1992, Tony Luke Jr. and his father, Tony Luke Sr., opened the original Tony Luke's sandwich shop in South Philadelphia. The shop quickly gained popularity for its Philly Cheesesteak, a sandwich made with thinly sliced pieces of beefsteak and melted cheese in a long hoagie roll. Today, Tony Luke's has expanded to multiple locations across the United States and even internationally.

Acting and Music

In addition to his success in the food industry, Tony Luke Jr. has also pursued a career in acting and music. He has appeared in several films and television shows, including Invincible, The Nail: The Story of Joey Nardone, and The Sopranos. As a musician, he has released several songs and albums, showcasing his talent in various genres from rock to country.

Personal Life

Tony Luke Jr. is a vocal advocate for mental health awareness and opioid addiction, following the loss of his son to a heroin overdose in 2017. He has used his platform to raise awareness and funds for these causes.
