Michael R. Quinlan is a prominent American business executive, best known for his tenure as the CEO of McDonald's Corporation from 1987 to 1998.

Early Life and Education

Quinlan was born in Chicago, Illinois. He attended Loyola University Chicago, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy in 1967 and an MBA in 1970.

Career

Quinlan began his career at McDonald's in 1963 as a mailroom clerk. He quickly rose through the ranks, holding various positions including store manager, director of purchasing, and vice president of operations. In 1987, he was appointed CEO, a position he held for 11 years.
