Overview of Zombie (cocktail).

```
The Zombie is a cocktail made of fruit juices, liqueurs, and various rums. It first appeared in the late 1930s, invented by Donn Beach of Hollywood's Don the Beachcomber restaurant. It was popularized soon afterwards at the 1939 New York World's Fair.
History
The Zombie cocktail is one of the most famous cocktails from the Tiki culture. The drink was created by Donn Beach and was first served at his Hollywood restaurant, Don the Beachcomber, in the late 1930s.
Ingredients
The Zombie cocktail includes a combination of fruit juices, liqueurs, and various types of rum including White Rum, Golden Rum, Dark Rum, and 151 Proof Rum. It also includes Apricot Brandy, Lime Juice, Pineapple Juice, Papaya Juice, and Grenadine.
Preparation
To prepare a Zombie cocktail, all ingredients except the high-proof rum are shaken with ice and strained into a glass. The high-proof rum is then floated on top. The cocktail can be garnished with mint, though this is optional.
Popularity
The Zombie cocktail gained popularity at the 1939 New York World's Fair and has remained a popular choice in many bars and restaurants since.
