The Orgasm is a cocktail that can be served either on the rocks or layered and is made with equal parts of Amaretto, Coffee liqueur, and Irish cream.

History

The Orgasm cocktail is believed to have been first created in the 1980s, during a time when cocktails with suggestive names were popular. The exact origin of the cocktail is unknown.

Preparation

The Orgasm is typically served in an Old Fashioned glass. To prepare the cocktail, one part of Amaretto, one part of Coffee liqueur, and one part of Irish cream are poured into the glass over ice cubes. The ingredients are then stirred well.

Variations

There are several variations of the Orgasm cocktail. One popular variation is the Screaming Orgasm, which includes the addition of Vodka. Another variation is the Bailey's Orgasm, which uses Bailey's Irish Cream instead of a generic Irish cream.
