Uses

In addition to its use as a pigment, titanium dioxide is also employed as a photocatalyst in various applications, including self-cleaning surfaces, air purification systems, and solar cells.

Inhalation of titanium dioxide particles in the workplace, particularly in industries involved in its production or processing, may pose risks to respiratory health.
