- During Prohibition in the United States, the Coors Brewing Company survived by producing non-alcoholic malted milk and porcelain products. After Prohibition ended in 1933, the company resumed brewing beer.
- In the 1950s, the Coors Brewing Company introduced a new beer called Coors Light. Coors Light became popular in the 1970s and 1980s and is now one of the best-selling beers in the United States.
