What do pain management specialists do?[edit]
As the name suggests, pain management doctors practice pain medicine, also called pain control or algiatry. Pain medicine is a branch of medicine that uses an interdisciplinary approach for easing the suffering and improving the quality of life of those living with chronic pain.
