Roche is a multinational healthcare company that operates worldwide under two divisions: Pharmaceuticals and Diagnostics. Its headquarters are located in Basel, Switzerland. Roche is the second-largest pharmaceutical company worldwide.

History

Roche was founded in 1896 by Fritz Hoffmann-La Roche, who was one of the first to recognize that the industrial manufacture of medicines would be a major advance in the fight against disease. Since then, Roche has grown into one of the world's leading healthcare companies.
