University of Liverpool

The University of Liverpool is a public research university located in the city of Liverpool, England. Founded in 1881 as University College Liverpool, it became a constituent college of the federal Victoria University in 1884. It gained its own Royal Charter in 1903, allowing it to award its own degrees. The university is a founding member of the Russell Group of research-intensive universities and the N8 Group for research collaboration.
