ATC code A

ATC code A is a section of the Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical Classification System (ATC), which is used for the classification of drugs and other medical products. The ATC system is controlled by the World Health Organization (WHO) and is widely used internationally for drug classification.

Structure of ATC code A

ATC code A is designated for drugs that act on the alimentary tract and metabolism. This section is further divided into several subgroups, each representing a specific category of drugs.

A01 - Stomatological preparations

  • A01A - Stomatological preparations
