FLUORETH-LAD is a psychedelic compound of the lysergamide class. It is a derivative of LSD and is named for the fluorine atom that has been added to the ethyl group at position 6 of the LSD molecule.

Chemistry

FLUORETH-LAD, or 6-fluoroeth-LAD, is a synthetic molecule of the lysergamide class. Like LSD, it is derived from ergoline, a molecule that is used in the manufacture of a number of therapeutic drugs. The structure of FLUORETH-LAD is nearly identical to that of LSD, with the exception of a single fluorine atom at the 6th position of the ethyl group.

Pharmacology

The exact mechanism of action of FLUORETH-LAD is not fully understood. However, it is believed to act as a serotonin receptor agonist, similar to other psychedelic drugs. This means it binds to and activates the serotonin receptors in the brain, which are involved in mood, perception, and other psychological phenomena.

Effects

The effects of FLUORETH-LAD are reported to be similar to those of LSD, including altered thinking processes, closed and open eye visuals, synesthesia, an altered sense of time, and spiritual experiences. The duration of effects is typically 6-10 hours, with the peak effects occurring 2-4 hours after ingestion.

Safety

As with all psychedelics, the use of FLUORETH-LAD carries risks. These include psychological distress, dangerous behavior, and potential long-term mental health issues. It is also possible that FLUORETH-LAD could interact with other medications or substances, leading to adverse effects.

Legal Status

The legal status of FLUORETH-LAD varies by country. In some jurisdictions, it is classified as a controlled substance, while in others it is legal to possess and use.
