Energetics is a broad field of study that encompasses a variety of scientific disciplines, including biology, chemistry, and physics. It is concerned with the study of energy under transformation, and has been useful in formulating the laws of thermodynamics and in developing quantum mechanics.

Overview[edit]

In the field of energetics, energy is often considered as the ability to do work or cause change.
